Can't really judge how great a president is until you have some time to really acknowledge the changes that were made. It could go either way- who knows? In 50 years they may say his decisions were exactly right, or they could say that he messed us over big time. It's all up in the air until things have time to settle down. Although I do have to say I'm not a Bush supporter and I giggled hysterically at the Bill Maher interview on Conan- apparently Bush said that "they're" still debating whether or not George Washington was a great president. Bill Maher responded to that comment by saying, "No they're not. He's on the *one*..." |

LOL at Bill Maher's comment. I would be shocked if in fifty years people would acknowledge Bush's decisions in a positive light. I guess I don't have the right to say that is impossible, but I don't see it happening personally. |

The problem is Bush has not idea what it all means. He thinks that if 10 people really like him and 90 don't approve then on the average he is doing good. Unfortunatly the 10 that like him are paid by him. In WA they hired people to stand in front of the demonstrators and wave Bush supporter signs so Bush wouldn't have to see the demonstrators when he passed them. Your tax dollars at work.. It is a true story. |

I think before he leaves he should personally take care of that huge multi-trillion-dollar debt he's saddled us with, because that's going to haunt us for a long time, and we're the ones who are going to have to pay for it in the long run. If the U.S. were a company and he were the CEO, the board of directors would have thrown him out a long time ago! Unfortunately, the board of directors happens to be the people surrounding him. |

I'm surprised that he hasn't been put 6 feet under by now. I heard on the radio, that it costs like, some odd billion dollars, to fund the war every month. That's a BIT much. I'm for the soldiers & everything, but come on, move on. We found Saddam, he's now history, move on over to Afghanastan or however it's spelled, & find Bin Laden, deal w/ him, & bring our ppl home. How many more have to get killed before the light bulb in his head lights up & he comes to the conclusion "oh gee, I think I should bring them home now!". He's a fool, & that's putting it nicely. I can't say what I really want, lol. |

I agree that he has put this country in way too much debt. And people told me I was stupid for not voting for him at the last election. Wonder how they feel now, LOL. |
