Now that you mentioned this. My sister was at my parents house about a month ago. And her youngest kid got into a HUGE tub of hair get. Covered head to foot. I have a picture of him. Looks so funny and he has this huge grin on his face. LOL |

LOL! Oh MY! I think this is a lesson all parents learn the hard way...it is so much safer when you can hear your kids. This happened to me once, too. My husband at that time and I were just lazing about, enjoying the fact that the kids weren't up yet. My youngest was 5 months at the time and my oldest was I think almost 3...and my middle child fit in there somewhere. Anyway, my ex loved peanut butter, and had this gallon bucket that he had left out the night before...and it was brand new, so there wasn't much out of the top. We started to get uncomfortable that they were too quiet, so the ex gets up and goes to check, and then hollers for me. I went out into the living room and I have 3 babies covered head to toe in peanut butter. My son had pulled my youngest from her crib. When I saw them I burst into laughter, and they started giggling. My youngest looked like a peanut butter doll with blinking eyes. It took weeks to scrub the smell off of them. My ex was careful to put the peanut butter up after that. They used the whole gallon! |

OK, I have heard that if you break an egg, beat it, then "wash" her hair with it...it should cut the ointment. Second trick is creamy peanut butter. Either one of these should cut the oil/vaseline type thing. (PB worked for baby oil in my sons hair) Good luck! |

LOL a gentle dish soap would break up the oils, be extra careful not to get it into her eyes of course. |

maybe try letting it sit for a little while to actually cut through the grease? |

From Authorid: 16845
I let it sit for a little while each time. Not sure how long. *wasn't exactly clock watching* LOL!!!! It DID help though, just didn't get it all. SO I'm just going to wash once a day until it's gone. I don't want to keep washing her and dry her out worse than before. Thanks all |
