I think you better do a backup first. Get all your important files and save them. And then it sounds like you're going to have to re-install windows operating system. |

First, back up all your files put the important things on a cd or dvd. Put your pictures on a dvd and you can watch them on your tv it works for cds too. Put all your files on a cd it sounds to me like you are going to have to do a factory default restore. |

sounds like the recovery partition is done for, you're going to need to reformat it, first though, find someone to slave the hard drive for you and get your files. |

Save your pictures to a couple different locations, external drives, thumb drives, and things and then restore the computer and dump all your old files. |

Sassy...don't do anything else with it. Take it to somone who can wipe it and re-install Windows. The only way to save your files at this point is to have your files stored on a USB or some other saving Mechanism and then re-installing windows. If you can access your files (Pictures, documents) anything you want to keep get them and save them on a USB stick or a disc immediatly. Hope this helps. |

Can you put your pics on photobucket? At least that way you can access them from any computer and they won't be lost. |
