Alright.. I have a question.. Well, a few of them. In my daughter's nursery, we have a CD player with and in this CD player is a burned copy of a song that I wrote that calms her when she's crying and what-not. Alright, one night I paused it because we were trying to sleep and it was coming over the baby monitor. Well, it came back on and started playing again, and I dismissed it as a malfunction. Well, it did this three more times. And this isn't a CD player that automatically turns back on after being paused for a certain amount of time.. It has no remote. So, by this point, I'm a bit creeped out, so I turn the power off on it.
And now, after being off for two days, at 4 am this morning, it turned back on. Now, when you turn it back on, you have to go to the CD, press play, and put it on repeat before it will play itsself over again. And, this CD only has one song on it.. So after playing through once, it would have shut off. Well, it didn't. It played through three times before I went in there to look. And, sure enough.. The CD player was on, playing the song, and on repeat. My fiance and I both were laying in bed when it happened, so neither one of us were trying to play a joke on the other. And this feat required manually pressing the buttons to turn it on, and etc..
So, I went in there and unplugged the CD player and we went to lay back down. Shortly thereafter, we heard strange noises coming over the baby monitor and the baby started fussing. After about five minutes, we went back in there and a pair of her pants were covering the monitor receiver. A pair of pants that were across the room. So, we called our friend who happens to be slightly clairvoyant and she said it's a cause for concern. But not to worry about the baby because whatever the entity is, it would have harmed her already if it was going to.
And, since I trust the advice given by my fellow USMers, I decided to post this and get your take on it...
Are we cracking up or do we have a spirit on our hands?
(UPDATE) Alright, well I set up a camera in the baby's room. I let it record for about 37 minutes all the while hearing strange sounds and breathing over the baby monitor. I watched the video and you can see the outline of the spirit leaning over the crib. We had our clairvoyant friend come over and read the tarot cards. We asked a series of questions we found out it is supposedly my fiance's grandfather. But, we keep getting mixed responses as though it changes to a different spirit. But, we also asked if there was more than one spirit and it said "No." It said it wasn't here to harm or had any malicious intent. But, I don't know. I'll keep investigating.
