Yesterday, we received a letter through the post from my youngest son's school so I thought I'd have a little game with him when he came home...
Once in the house, I said in a stern voice complete with serious face, "We've got a letter from your school about you. I don't want any arguments because every word in it is true!"
He looked shocked and nervously asked what it was about so I started to read: I would like to congratulate [Name] on his excellent attendance during his first term in Year 7...
The relief that washed over my son's face was a picture! He said, "I knew I hadn't done anything wrong!" Thanks for reading :)
