Is there a father or father figure in your life that is very domineering. He likes to be in control of you? Makes you suppress who you are? Or rather used to control you? I feel that you are gaining control of your own life over this man (or maybe woman), but as they are still in your life, you worry that your own children are at risk of being controlled. Help your kids with their self confidience. Give them praise. If around this person, and they are putting them done, counter act with praise to the child. Does this make any sense to you? Or am I just rambling?  |

Sounds like a battle of the wits here. Sounds like you have a very overbearing parental figure. It sounds like there is no room for compromise. It's almost like this person is trying to live their life through you. I'm really sorry to read this.
On the flipside, from what I remember reading, it sounds as though you're afraid of yourself, because you feel as though you may hurt people. It also seems like you want to "kill" a part of yourself that you don't like. By confronting it in your dream, you're kinda saying, "I don't like you." But since you both kill each other, it seems that you are unhappy with two parts of yourself. Maybe next time when you have the dream, you should ask yourself, "Why are you doing this?" The outcome will probably be a bit different.
