HAPPY 3rd Birthday to my lil man, Alex!!! KorngurlAmanda

 Three Years ago, today, my son Alex made his entrance into this world. :)

Before that he was my baby bean:

 He was born nearly a month premature, and had to stay in the Neonatal unit for nearly two weeks.

 The first time I saw him, he was in his oxygen hood.

He was a real trooper, and was so tiny. We brought him home, and he just seemed to grow, and grow.

He at 6 months, had caught up with the rest of the 'normal' babies, and was full of spunk, attitude and smiles. :)

At 18 months, he was stealing hearts with the his wavy, beautiful locks, and big blue eyes. :)

At 2, he was uber adoreable, and  spunky to boot! :D

And since he broke our digital camera, a few months after this picture was taken, this is the most recent that I currently have of him. :) My sis-in-law, has the most updated picture, of him in his Halloween costume. If she sends it tonight, sometime I'll include it. :D

These are just the highlights of what has been an immense amount of joy, and the light of my life. My lil man, has enriched my life soooo much. You never know how much life changes when you have children, but once you do have them, you understand. Life changes, and the material things are no longer /that/ important anymore. The smile on your child's face becomes the highlight of your day. The joy in their laughter, makes your heart swell.

 My heart, stays happy, seeing my lil man grow up. It doesn't seem like it's been three years since my emergency C-section, that introduced this wonderfully, sweet, handsome little boy into our lives. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Alex, Mommy and Daddy, and Maw maw love you SO much! :D

 I have to mention, two of our family friends, did something extra special for my son this year. They knew we couldn't afford a birthday party for him, so they went to Chuck-E-Cheese and got a Party Gift Certificate for him so that he can have a party. I bawled when I found out- A special thank you from my family to them, for helping make my little boys' birthday, extra special!
