I dance beautifully only when it rains,

That’s the only time I feel something with me.

Dancing with the water and the sky for that brief second before it hits the ground

I can’t listen to music anymore

For some reason every song reminds me of you

Everywhere I go your scent lingers

It makes me feel sick, but I can’t help but take in all that I can.

Tell me the difference between the puddles of rain and tears

And let me know when dancing has some meaning again

Remind me that the sun will always shine tomorrow

And that tomorrow will never come and yesterday was never here.

I just want to lie in the grass and look at the stars

Smile in my sleep to hide my dreams and never wake again.

But where’s the good in that, I’ve got too much to do

And never enough time to get it done.

Forget the pains and just breathe

All I want to do is dance again, just like we used to…
