Divide amongst some worthwhile charities? Breast Cancer Research, Canteen (Which is a charity here for kids with Cancer), Make a Wish Foundation, Pay for proper psychology sessions for drug addicts, to help them overcome the real reason for their addiction. That's just four of the things I could do. But I guess, at his age, he may not be really thinking properly. *leaves post to see if she has any long lost relatives in Germany who may have forgotten her because of old age and who may have won the lottery recently* |

If I had won all this money and did not want it for some reason, I would divide it up among my family and keep some of it to give to those that really need it. I would NOT give it to charity .... but to those that I would KNOW needed financial help. |

I would have given the money to children in an orphanage. Divided equally and put into a trust that only they could draw from once they reached the age to be out on their own. |

It's not so amazing as it is astoundingly sad. He must be so sad and depressed to not even think of using it for some kind of good even if he dosent want to keep it. Poor guy. |

Oh I agree that he should have donated it to worthy causes at least. He could have done a lot of good with that, like given to the Souldrifter foundation for underprivalidge shopaholics. Geezz, how inconsiderate of him. I think that's what I would have done. |

I can't fault him for what he has done, do you realise how many people would be hounding him at his door begging for the money. It is safer this way, he doesn't have it he has no access to it and no one can try and change his mind to make him give it to their charity. |

I can understand easily "why". Hes 70 with a pension that apparently covers his needs well. He has no one to left that matters to him to share it with. If hes happy why mess it up with more money that would just go back to the state anyway when he died. |
