So I got my ship date today after being put on hold for a couple months while my foot healed. I havent ran since i broke my toe but I'm doing it tomorrow with my recruiter.
Sept. 24th i will be headed down to meps and then from there I'm off to MCRD Parris Island and the reality of it has set in. I can't help but be introspective. My Mom noticed a change with me, i actually help around the house without asking. normally i'm very outgoing but apparently i've been really reserved and quiet. this of course all comes after meeting an amazing girl last week.
If anyone has any last minute advice I'd truly appreciate it. I'm so nervous yet happy at the same time. Nervous because A. I don't know what to expect and B. i'm afraid of failing. Happy for obvious reasons and more.
so yes, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
