House was built in 1898 and was partially destroyed in the 1900 Hurricane. It is fabulous!

Here's me in front of house

Date: 9/5/2007 9:05:00 AM  From Authorid: 24924    Reminds me of a lot of homes in New Orleans, or in Savannah, GA. I used to dream of having a home like yours, with a huge porch going around the house; porch swings, climbing roses, rocking chairs......and sittin' around sippin' ; sangin' and jaw'in in the summertime. Very lovely home you got there. How nice of you to share. Enjoy.
Date: 9/5/2007 10:43:00 AM  From Authorid: 61847    Lol, keep the pots and toss the plants. :-D but the house is beautiful. I can't wait to see if you do any fixing up or painting! Does the inside look as fantastic as the outside?
Date: 9/5/2007 6:59:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 62618    we are making a list of projects a mile long, but since we are renting we have to check with landlord before doing anything major. The inside is cool, came with lots of southwest-y rugs and some gorgeous antique furniture. High ceilings, wood floors, two bathrooms. It is definitely old, but saturated with character.
Date: 9/25/2007 3:20:00 PM  From Authorid: 56297    Oh wow! Amazing!
