It's all The Scenery

Have you ever wondered,
Can you begin to imagine?
Let me paint a picture..
This threadbarren scenery,
This heart hitting the floor.
Leaving nothing but a hole
And empty inside.

I can't reach out to you,
I can barely move.
I know I should say something,
But I can barely breathe.
I'm sorry if I'm giving up too easy,
But, I don't have the strength to hold on anymore.

Please don't make me feel so contradicting,
I can't take your look of shame,
The feeling of disappointment.
Forgive what I've done.
I can't come to terms with it.
I don't even know what it is.

Now, I shall walk out of this,
Head held to the floor.
I'm still reading your letter,
But the words are getting too blurred.
This is what you want.
You want me to disappear.
So do I.
