Seeing the Elephant ~ Anabel

Although my blood
recalls it's riverbed,
even myself
reminds me of you.
Lonliness is not silent.
It screams compound
and bounces violent
down the halls that shriek you're gone.
Although my name
remembers it's place,
even the redemption
leaves me feeling in the dark;
Stroking the cornered shadows...

Oh,
I have loved your shadow so.
