We started at the end, and worked our way back.
We can end at the beginning.
Awkward movements in silence.
Staring, but at a loss for words.
We should go back to that day,
When everything felt right.
Instead of this day that's going to lead to a long night.

I chipped at your rock heart, still didn't make a spot,
Still couldn't make a spot big enough for me.
So, I'll crawl into my bed, and wish for a call.
I'll crawl into the sheets and wish you were here with me.
This isn't right. 3am, staring at the wall.
I wonder if you're thinking about me.
Am I in your dreams?

How quickly lust can pretend it's love.
How quickly we can make assumptions.
Well, I'm done assuming now,
I can't take the thoughts swimming through my head.
Now, I'm going to make them all drown.

I chipped at your rock heart, still didn't make a mark.
Couldn't make a spot big enough for me.
So, I'll crawl into my bed and wish for a call.
I'll crawl into the sheets, and wish you were here with me.
I wonder if you're thinking about me?
Was I ever in your dreams?

I look into this, now I see nothing but disaster.
Now, I'm taking you with me.
