As I look through it, The mirror is shattered. I can't see behind me, Or really make out what's in front. I still remember the night you broke it. Are you regretting it yet? I am. I regret the things I said to you, Or how I may have pushed you away. Forgive me, but I don't know what to say.
Remember when you get lonely, When you want me to hold you Through the darkness of the night. That you said those words, That you can't let go, You left me hanging on. Hanging on so tightly, I never once lost my grip. Never did I run astray, And still to this day, I love you.
The shattered pieces of glass cover the floor, They could reflect you so much better this way. I see you all around me. I smell you in the air. I can't shake the thoughts of you. My head is spinning in circles, Still, I can't find the reason why I'm the way I am. Am I breaking? Not a chance.
Remember when you get lonely, When you want me to hold you Through the darkness of the night. That you said those words, That you can't let go, You left me hanging on. Hanging on so tightly. So tightly to nothing. I've lost my grip. Goodbye.
