If you use the iron transfers make sure you read the directions (there is an option in your print area - that you will have to print the item backwards) I think its called mirror. It works great. |

you could carve a rubber or lino block and do a print on it. You could hand paint it (thin the paint with water and it flows better). You could make something in paint or photoshop, print it on iron-on transfer paper then irn it on to your shirt. YOu could use the iron on letters that youcan get at any fabric store. OR.... you could look at scren printing supplies at a craft store and see if that's within your budget P>S> there's lots of stuff you can use to make a block for the block printing idea ...wood, styrofoam meat trays (easily imprinted with just a pencil), those foam sheets (in the kids craft section, ususally), cut into different shapes and glued to a backer make great rubber stamp type tools. You could also do mono printing; which is where you paint something in reverse on a piece of glass, then make one good print (and several lesser quality prints) to your shirt by laying the shirt over the paint and rubbing with a brayer. |

and as I re-read... they do make some spray on fabric paints now that would work well with stencils. Regular spray paint doesn't keep it's color well after washing and the texture tends to get "yucky"... for lack of a better word ;o) Good luck! |

I buy blank iron on sheets from Wal-Mart. They're really easy to use and look pretty good. You just print whatever you want like you would a normal picture, only use the transfer paper instead of regular or photo paper. |

if you do the iron on... don't forget to print in mirror image mode or your transfer will be backwards on your shirt ;o) |
