Our governor just signed into law that sex education is not to be taught in schools. There is to be a "abstinence only" policy. Yeah....really. The Kansas schoolboard has for years had this battle going on. Evangelical groups have been working overtime to get evolution tossed out of schools and creationism taught instead. Kansas has been the brunt of ; the laughingstock of the rest of the country.
