The cat posts made me think of this, and I thought Kiki and some others would like it. ^-^
I had finally managed to get a copy of The Order and was watching it on the couch in the living room out in Utah. Kissy, the kitty, decided he wanted to climb up onto my lap. He's a fairly mellow cat, so I let him. Besides, I love that cat.
Anyway, I was petting him the entire time, and could feel him purring. Both of us were perfectly, wonderfully content.
And then one of those scenes that kind of makes you gasp happen. Sure enough, that was my reaction. Kissy's reaction? To dig his claws down into my stomach. Sure enough, that led to another cry from me and he dug in further.
I had to pry him off my stomach and set him back down in my lap. I tried to stay silent through the rest of the movie, and he went back to his content state. You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or
