The apartment still HATES me! (but... we got a weapon.....)--by Emi

I have been in here for probably only 15 minutes, and my nose is itching again. My apartment hates me. We've been staying at my mom's due to all of the things I had to do for her, but we're back now. And I KNOW I'm going to be going insane by tonight....

BUT.... we bought weapons of mass allergen destruction!

Frebreeze Allergen, now in a light spring scent that will freshen the entire room. Spray on, Freshness Lovers, spray on!

Okay... now that I got that out of my system. Frebreeze has a version now that is supposed to kill the allergens (including... ba da da dah! dust mites!), so we bought it to spray around the apartment.

Emi dying of allergies would be a bad thing, but still nowhere near as ironic as when I choked on my Prozac. If I am to die, it needs to be EXTREMELY ironic and funny. Allergies don't cut it. It's not funny enough. *shakes head*

Date: 5/24/2007 1:26:00 PM  From Authorid: 43991    Well I sure hope you don't die anytime soon Emi, funny or not. . I remember that post about your Prozac... lol. That would have been too ironic. I have a lot of trouble with allergies, so I know how you feel. I had to move out of my old apartment because it was making me too sick. I hope that Frebreeze stuff works for ya!

Date: 5/24/2007 1:30:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 1799    We don't have the money to move out, especially after all it took just to get approved to rent!
Date: 5/24/2007 1:31:00 PM  From Authorid: 55251    Febreeze is amazing stuff. I hope your allergies calm down. Ever think about buying one of those "air purifier" things? I hear good things about them, for people who have bad allergies.
Date: 5/24/2007 1:31:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    see about getting the carpets washed.. scrub everythig down with bleach.. and pick up a air purifier... they make a world of difference(we have one in the bedroom) open up all the windows and flush the air out as much as possible
Date: 5/24/2007 1:31:00 PM  From Authorid: 43991    I'm sure if I was in an apartment in a normal complex I wouldn't have been able to move out either. I was in college, and our college has apartments, so they let me move without paying. I had to have a note from my doctor in order for that to happen though. Do you think that you might possibly have a mold problem? I know that can trigger allergies and cause a ton of other issues.
Date: 5/24/2007 1:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 58078    I so know how you feel. I hate allergies. Didn't know about the new Febreeze, I'll have to check that out. Expecially since theres not much meds I can take right now, maybe that will help some.
Date: 5/24/2007 1:37:00 PM  From Authorid: 63449    Spray on Emi, spray on - kill the enemy! =P
Date: 5/24/2007 1:38:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 1799    The apartment was just recently redone, with new cabinets and whatnot. Not sure they would leave mold behind... but.. ick.
Date: 5/24/2007 1:38:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 1799    Yes, I SHALL kill the enemy. They shall feel the wrath of Emi, and they shall suffer! *spray spray*
Date: 5/24/2007 1:40:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    if it's been fully redone i don't think they'd leave mold but there is the after effects of remodelling.. fresh carpet has a odor in it from the factory and also often a little dirty..
Date: 5/24/2007 1:58:00 PM  From Authorid: 8905    Time to go to the grocery store and rent a rug doctor. LOL

Date: 5/24/2007 2:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 998    Emi, I can't wait to meet you in person. I never thought about having an ironic end to my existence. I might have to revise my will right away ... LOL. Ironic death by chocolate will be my demise, I'm sure .. LOL
