My take at a Villanelle:
See the faces of the ill,
Show the discomfort from within,
Say the words or stay still.
Long hallways where liquid spill,
Looking down, don't turn a chin,
See the faces of the ill.
Watch them walk with all their will,
Not helping could be a sin,
Say the words or stay still.
Search around for time to kill,
Take out flask and drink gin,
See the faces of the ill.
Found the man that fell from mill,
It's not fair he did not win,
Say the words or stay still.
Spot it, and take the pill,
Wonder where they have been.
See the faces of the ill,
Say the words or stay still.
