Prayers and Special Blessings ~*~Ranger~*~

There are many Members here at USM who have sick family members. And with every post the USM family responds with love and understanding. The outpouring of Prayers and Blessing is astounding.

We are more than just an online community, we are family. Everyone here knows we have seen more than our share of sickness, death and adversity. What gets us through these times is a caring family. Just to know someone is willing to listen, pray and share in our burdens is a comfort in itself.

It is very hard when we have aging parents who are sick. It tends to drain one Mentally, emotionally and physically. Sometimes we even feel guilty we cant be there all the time. Truly its an emotional roller coaster.

I would ask everyone at USM to take a moment, whether pagan, Christian or other Religious faith to lite a candle, send a blessing to those of us who have aging parents who are sick.

Date: 5/5/2007 5:57:00 PM  From Authorid: 29532    Thank you Ranger, but all I ask for is that people not send out anything for me or my mom. Instead send it to my mom's mom and my Grandma. Let peace be with her and help us tell God she is ready to be with him back home. Take her gently, cause we love her lots and the road has too many bumps and makes her cranky, were gonna seek him out and kick his butt.
Date: 5/5/2007 6:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 998    Thank you so much Ranger. Your words are very comforting right now, as I am 1500 miles away from my mother ... and she will be in surgery in one hour. I'm not sure how I could cope without her ... even though I know her time will come someday. Just not today, I pray ...

Date: 5/6/2007 8:47:00 AM  From Authorid: 8243    Thank you for such a thoughtful post. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone at USM. I find that so many are in need right now, and I wish I could do more, but I do know the positive influences that prayers can bring. I am a prime example. If it wasn't for so many of my friends and my family, I wouldn't be here today. I have a firm belief in a higher being that hears our prayers, thougts, chants, or whatever it is that one does. Thank you for giving a opportunity to hold those in need close to our hearts. Liz
Date: 5/6/2007 12:36:00 PM  From Authorid: 3642    Things have been real challenging around here I spent the last week at Barns hospital in St Louis It takes up like 4 city blocks and they do Lung Transpants there and this balloon thing that helps the heart Value to try and stay open and working - my Mom went there to see if they can prolong her life ~ there quite a few damage filled things in my life all at once right now and I would very much appriecate prayers .
