Stories of a Ouija Youth

I have been a member here for several years.. I have a 5 year badge now, I see -- it's been about 6-7 years! I'm 22 years old now. I randomly decided to log back in and check my profile -- aw, someone had completed my little user graphic. <3 Thank you so much and I'm glad to be back!

So I've been reading some Ouija stories here because I have met a new friend and we are planning to use my old Ouija board. I wanted to make a few comments, or just some of my own experiences, to some posts I have read lately.

I think a lot of times people psych themselves out because they have these pre-concieved ideas about the Ouija due to campfire stories and horror films. One might assume Satan is on the recieving end or actually ask the Ouija scary questions and look too far into things. (I don't believe in Satan but I understand that there are religions that do.) For instance, it says one thing and you quickly assume it is some sort of threat and so you ask 'Does this mean I'm going to die tomorrow?'

I used the Ouija board when I was much younger, say when I was 12 and also at 15-18 or so.. I got scared when I was really young and got rid of mine (I don't remember why..) but when I was 15 I enjoyed it a lot. I used it often with my best friend of the time, Nastashia. We continued to use it for the next few years.

Around this time strange things began to happen around my house. I do not know if these things were related to the Ouija useage but they were going on around the same time. My walls began to sound as though something hard were banging on them; this happened both when no one but myself was at home and when my friends were with me. Nastashia heard this one night as well when we were meditating, it scared us very much at the time.

Also I had began to have horrible nightmares and once I experienced sleep paralysis. I had dreams that there were lights in my house and outside of my house trying to show me things but they always scared me into waking myself. I had a dream I was being attacked by a shadow and couldn't move, it was a inner fight in my sleep.

Why do I consider using the Ouija again when these things happened to me? One reason is because I did not take the time everytime I used it to do an opening ritual and a closing ritual. I also believe I am more mature having had these experiences in the past and am ready to be much more prepared when I plan to use the Ouija. I can only give you advice to do the same, please always research such tools before you begin using them and also be prepared to use safety as with using all tools.

I am a much more open-minded and understanding person due to these experiences as well as by reading your stories! Keep posting. ^-^
