more like I do....
do you think it is easy,
to fall in love?
to know the one split second you have from first glance,
to know....
it is.
do you think the second your hands touch,
your eyes meet,
do you wonder if it is, will be in love?
how many nights do you sit and ponder the moment?
many I sit,
is where you are now, where I am at this moment,
is it where life should be?
how many walks have we walked already?
so many nights spent under the canopy of stars,
looking, seeking the one,
the same star, to capture a glimpse of being there.....
being here....
is there a closeness within the distance?
so close I can feel your breath falling with mine,
falling within the chill?
how many silent days,
how many shadows cast over the wall in the dimly lit darkness,
how many shadows fell across your lap, wondering?
wondering....maybe.....
is the silence broken with endless chatter,
laughter,
sighs,
is it broke with moments yet to come?
moments only within your mind?
only in mine?
do those memories to come, maybe, do they bring warmth to your heart......
a smile to your face.....
memories of yesterday.....are they felt with comfort and contempt?
cn you tame the butterflies felt in your chest?
are they wild.....free.....happy......waiting to be let loose into "this world"
do they feel right?
does your wondering mind feel right....
your heart....
is it here?
is it there?
can you take chances, with no fear......
within one seond of life, to have?
