I dunno...I was a shy guy in school and personally, it was mainly that I was too afraid to start anything myself. So, maybe his 'pace' is now..but he's too shy and afraid to say anything about it.. |

I think I know where you going with this, There is guy that likes you isn't there? Well whether there is best thing to do id just keep talking to the boy find out what he likes and talk about that, show him that are in a way one of the guys. That's what always worked for me. |

My husband was the shy type. I just kept talking to him and slowly he became more talkative towards me. I just let him know that he could trust me. Talking to one another has worked a lot of ups and downs in are relationship. And as for what Pillsbury Doughboy said is true. Find out what he likes to talk about. It worked with my husband. I also agree with the other comments maybe he is ready but is waiting for you to make a move. I know that I had to make a lot of first moves with my husband. Shy guys seem to me the most sweetest guys. Hope that my little perspective of what I went through to catch my husband helps. Good Luck, |

I agree with Quistis My husband was also shy when I met him. I just talked to him, and made it obvious that I wanted to get to know him. He wasn't too hard to talk to after a little while either. We've been together for more than 6 years now, married nearly 4 years. And he's not so shy anymore, with people. *hugs* |

You could always ask him to go have coffee (soda) with you so you could just talk. |
