I do drink sometimes-- I love the taste of beer and wine and margaritas. And I am plenty smart. I know how to do it in moderation. No more than a couple drinks in a sitting.  |

Beags you know you are right it is a little insulting. I like to have a drink now and then to loosen up or whatever. I always have someone else to drive me and I get a little buzz more then anything so I feel I am not harming anyone or myself. |

The 'smart enough' comment is pretty insulting. I am 22 and I do both. I don't drink to get drunk but I do drink to relaxe. I smoke cigarettes cause some days I just need something to keep me calm. Just don't need the 'all realigous' type stuff either. Do respect those who haven't cause that is their choice. And people should respect other people's descions.  |

I stopped drinking about 10 years ago and never had a drink since. I am not on the wagon, its just because something that I personally didn't want to do as a parent. And I stopped smoking about 3 years ago, and miss that a lot, but have not touched that either since I quit.  |

I consider myself very intelligent. I have smoked in the past and have had alcohol in the past. I quit smoking over 3 years ago and haven't had one since. I've had one drink in the past 4 years so I suppose I can be considered a non-drinker. I quit smoking because the man I was marrying has asthma. One of his triggers is cigarette smoke. ANd I myself was beginning to develop serious health issues. So even though I did enjoy smoking, I put them away and will never pick them up again. Pretty smart, in my opinion   |

I don't drink but I do smoke. My hubby has never passed an alcoholic beverage or a ciggie past his lips. He said even as a teenager he never could understand why anyone would want to do something that was obviously harmful to your body. I sure wish I was thinking like that when I was younger. I hate my smoking habit!  |

I have never smoked in my life, it grosses me out way too much, but I lived in Germany for a year, so I've nevvvveerrrr drank *hides horns while trying to hold on halo* lol I drank quite a bit over there, although 80% of the time it was in moderation. Now I have 1-2 drinks once every 2 weeks on average because for me drinking is social.  |
