My friends want to vaca there but my boyfriend & I have heard bad things about the place. We were told it's 'ghetto', trashy, just a party place. Have you been there? What did you think? I need opinions from people who have experienced this. Not really a trashy place-lots of high school/college people. Lots of families go there too. Not really anythign bad to say about it. Purple Rose

Once spring and summer hit it's over-crowded. I honestly don't know what's so great about it other than the beach. You've got clubs and the strip which has a few neat shops but most of them carry the same things. It's a party spot for teenagers and college kids especially at night. We'd have to wade through the drunks and the traffic.
