Memorable moments of 2006..hmmm well, had my 3rd brain surgery on Jan 17th, than had radiation in march and april. Still haven't gotten all my hair back. I would say this year has sucked for the most part, other than the fact I lived through it. only about 45 more minutes left of 2006 here now  |

Awwww....sorry you aren't feeling well. Honey and Hot Tea with Lemon should make you feel better...hopefully. The most memorable moment of this year for me was...um...uh...well, I had lots of them. I guess it would the birth of my little granddaughter, Marisa. Last year, at this time, I was at my oldest daughter's house heralding in the New Year in her backyard...we were watching fireworks in the neighborhood. It was nice. Tonight, I'm staying home as I will be called between midnight and 2am be a driver for a few who have been partying hardy. I have to work tomorrow, so I'm just taking it easy...doing housework, laundry, stuff like that. Sounds exciting, doesn't it? NOT! Happy New Year, Sweetie. I hope you get to feeling better, soon.  |

It's gone by fast for me as well. It was an awesome year for me though. It didn't start out great, but the last 8 months or so have been the best year of my life. The most memorable thing for me has to be my having become self-sufficient for the first time in my life.  |

Actually, I think one of the most memorable moments of 2006 was moving into our new house yesterday. My boyfriend came back from his friend's house last night (or VERY early this morning, I suppose) and sat on our brand new couch and raved about how proud we are of ourselves and how much we love our color scheme.  I think it's cool that we start a "new life" at the new year. Yay 2006, bring it on, 2007!  |
