My Favorite Christmas by BabyG

My favorite christmas was about 3 years ago. My son had just turned 1 years old 5 days earlier and we were at my in-laws celebrating christmas, drinking hot coffee and eating..... especially the pumkin rolls lol yummy.

We all knew that it began to drizzle and it was really cold especially in the rio grande valley which is the south border of texas. It usually is 50 degrees the coldest during christmas.

So we were all standing around the piano as my niece sang Silent Night When I turned around and saw snow flakes! You don't understand It's only snowed down here once! and it was in the 1950's No one thought it would ever snow again. But it began snowing, and on christmas night! It was the first time I ever saw snow.

I was so excited there was very little snow mainly on the cars and the patio furniture but I didn't care snow was snow I thought that was the best it would get so i ran around like a 5 year old lol trying to get whatever snow i could to make a snow man and I did it was about a foot tall hehe but I was so happy. Then as the night past it snowed harder and harder and within a few hours the whole back yard was white with snow. I almost went crazy!! All of us went outside and build a huge snowman and of course played our first snow fight! I will never forget that christmas.

I'm sure some people are like wow big deal you saw snow I see snow every year but you don't understand it never snows down here where I live and most of the people that live here had never seen snow either so it made all the adults turn into kids. We had a blast.
