Radman said to post about your favourite Christmas. The story below is about my favourite Christmas ever! It is one I will never forget! It's about the true meaning of Christmas. This is a repost.

Almost seven years ago we moved to the tiny village we are now living in today..We knew NOONE..we were strangers to this town and they were strangers to us..Well we rented out a house here, and met our Landlords who happened to be the sweetest people God ever put on this earth IMO.

That Christmas money was VERY tight..I didnt know what we were going to do for Christmas for our four children..We just didnt have the money to buy them the special things they were asking for..let alone the necessities..Not even a turkey. The year had been rough on us with the move, the death of my Father and the ensuing bills that piled up from that as my Father had not set aside money for his funeral expenses.

Well that year SEVERAL miracles happened to our little family..All of these miracles stem back to our wonderful Landlords/Angels. First of all Dot..one of our Landlords came to visit about two weeks before Christmas..she gave me a Christmas card..I didnt open it while she was there..we talked and she had a cup of tea..After she left I picked up the card to open it to put it on the mantle with the other Christmas cards we had received..When I opened that card..out fell $125.00 and a little note! The note said.."buy something special for the kids and get yourself a turkey for Christmas dinner" I was touched beyond words..and the tears instantly fell..The money had come from her, her sister and their elderly Mother who was living in a nursing home.

Well one of the things we were worried about was a snowsuit and boots for DJ, our youngest son...Later that week my Landlord again came to visit, and I tearfully thanked her for that card and the money..she reached in her pocket and pulled out another envelope...and said "This is from my Son..He asked me to give this to you and to tell you to buy the little guy a snowsuit and some boots!" Inside that card was $50.00!! I was dumbfounded!! These people barely knew us and here they were..taking care of my Christmas!!

That isnt even ALL!! Christmas Eve there was a knock at the door, and in came my Landlord AGAIN with her husband..he was carrying bag after bag and box after box of GROCERIES!! EVERYTHING needed for a wonderful Christmas...GIFTS for the kids, and gifts for my husband and myself!! And also another $100.00!!

Did I mention that we were behind on our rent that month?? Us not paying the rent and here they were giving us all these things!!

And that STILL wasnt all!! Christmas day we woke up and the kids had a blast opening their presents..Around noon there was a knock on the door..There in the door was a man we didnt know..he had the car backed up to the door...He proceeded to tell us that he had heard from our Landlords that money was tight that year and his church decided to do something special for our family..Sooooo...In he came with a HUGE pile of Groceries, candy for the kids, and gifts for the kids and my husband and myself, and a gift certificate from Toys R Us to buy the kids whatever they wanted!!

I was overwhelmed..the tears flowed and I could not control them..that year that we thought Christmas would not come to our home..It came TEN fold!! Our kids had the BEST Christmas ever and they also learned a very important lesson..Christmas is about giving..Love, Peace on Earth and God REALLY does have Angels living here on earth!!

Anyway I wanted to share my Christmas miracle with you and let you get a little glimpse of MY Christmas Angels!! THIS is the story of my favourite Christmas!
