I am a teacher and I have never heard of that but it may be some different type of teaching like the Shurley Method that was real big in the 1990s. I can still remember the helping verb song from the 6th grade and that was 12 years ago LOL. |

I am a teacher and I have never heard of the "ing" brothers. My first thought was that they are obviously two or more things that are always seen with the letters ing. Good luck! |

It's probably something do to with the punctuation family. There's momma comma and papa full stop. If I can remember where I read it (at work), I'll find some references for you. Capital letters have special names, as do brackets. So the 'ing' likely is in there somewhere. |

Ing and Ing were Chinese brothers known for their acrobatic skills during the 1920's at the Beetle & Bailey Circus that traveld all over Southwestern Rhode Island. They had amazing balance skills, and would often perform to sold out crowds, sometimes numbering more than 12. Theiur shows included an highwire act, juggling, and penguin tossing. It would be this pengun tossing that would lead to their downfall, as animal rights groups didn't like the tossing of penguins and insisted that the brothers use a unglier animal, like a baby ostritch. The Ing Brothers refused, and were shortly shut down. Ing and Ing now live in Lincoln, Nebraska, and have their own McDonalds resturant that they co-own with their sister- Inga. source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ingbrothers |
