I don't know what they are talking about either! Sounds like you are eating enough..anexoric people are those who do not eat..they starve themselves! You don't do that. |

It annoys me when people do that. This is one of the reasons I stopped seeing one of my counselors. She kept telling me I was anorexic when I wasn't. |

When I was in junior high I had a school nurse who was obsessed thinking I was anorexic. Now my son has the same bony body and shoulders that I did when I was younger! |

I understand anorexia is serious and some-what common but blaming people who are CLEARLY not sick is crazy! |

Wow, I can certainly sympathize - our situations are almost identical. Started around a similar weight, lost a similar amount mostly through activity but I also tried to eat healthier. I received similar reactions from family members and as irritating as it could be (my mom said the same thing about not having curves to me) I came to realize it was just that everyone wasn't used to seeing me that small in years (ever since I stopped playing sports). The majority have come to realize over time that I do eat and have stopped worrying. It sounds like this might possibly be what's going on in your situation. Nothing sounds wrong about what you're doing to me. I think it might just take some time for everyone to adjust and realize that your weight loss and maintenance isn't achieved through unhealthy habits. Good luck, and hang in there too - it took my family about a year to do so, and I still get grief from certain members whenever I see them :P |

I get the same sort of comments, I have always been thin no matter how hard I try to gain weight. I eat ALOT but I had this older lady at work yesterday tell me I don't eat enough and that I don't look well. She was like what did you eat yesterday I was like three arbys roast beefs for lunch, meatballs and brocli for dinner and a slice of pizza for a midnight snack. Everyone is always telling me I don't eat enough but I do. Its really frustrating I know exactly what you mean. I've wieghed 135 since I was like 14 now I'm 24 and still the same wieght. As long as you feel happy and healty than its all good. ;-) |

sounds okay to me, most people (Americans) eat far too much. lots of fiber (fruit and colored veggies) and less calories...has to be good. |
