I can't seem to remember things I should. I read my notes and books for class and understnad everything but I have a hard time recalling information..or it'll be at the tip of my toung but I won't be able to remmeber. I read somewhere that increasing iron intake helps with memory and brain function, is this true? Are there any other vitamins or foods I should have that would help? I don't want to take pills, I would take herbs if they worked though. Let me know!

Taking a multi-vitamin everyday would be the best probably. I know I need to do it, but I forget to take the pills! The best vitamins though are prenatal and they sell them OTC. I know when I took them my hair grew faster and was very healthy looking and my skin and nails as well.

Date: 10/24/2006 11:08:00 AM  From Authorid: 14464    yeah, I know some girls who take it and aren't pregnant and never have been.
Date: 10/24/2006 11:09:00 AM  From Authorid: 10245    yes, they're safe. they just have a higher level of folic acid and a couple other things. nothing that will result in toxicity, though.

Date: 10/24/2006 6:18:00 PM  From Authorid: 16916    I would recommend talking to a doctor before you start taking anything. Everyone has different levels of different vitamins and minerals in their bodies depending on diet and metabolism and such. What might be good for one might OD someone else..Taking prenatal vitamins won't hurt you if you aren't pregnant but still talk to your doctor first.

Date: 10/25/2006 2:22:00 PM  From Authorid: 62766    ghost lover (you cant remember which one it is. lol your nuts!!

Date: 11/5/2006 3:15:00 PM  From Authorid: 62823    ShimmerKiss, you may want to get your thyroid levels checked. An underactive thyroid can cause memory loss and forgetfulness.
