Little Jung. Hey there, you world traveller, you! Sounds like a trip, indeed. "Work hard" and remember that "nothing" comes easy. It'll probably take from now 'till next summer to raise the bread. Stick with it and I wish you the best. Write on... |

If you have things you might want to sell, you could try eBay, or maybe the USM Mall. Gosh, it seems like just the other day you were just a kid ... :-P~~~ LOL. Now your driving, and (possibly) traveling around the world. Gosh, if you are going to Europe .. can I hitch a ride *puts out thumb* .. |

Make sure you have a fanny pack with all your valuables like passport, ID, and money in it. My best friend and family went and while touring the Vatacan, EVERYTHING - Luggage and all - was stolen from their van! The thiefs popped the window out. Thank goodness for homeowners insurance! They were the seventh party that day who this happened to. One daughter left her passport and money in the van while the others had their's with them. Sorry, not to put a damper on things, but just be aware. |

LUCKY!!! As a History Major I would love to bring life to what I will be teaching in the future. My Fav History teacher, Mr.B, would travel to historic places and show us pictures and videos and once a Greek artifact. He was very careful with it..it was $$$$$. So, anyways back to you being LUCKY!!!! Also, I'd love to go to España to see where my grandfather was born and raised.. So much family history I don't know about. hmmm..anyways Good Luck, make Cheesecakes..Everyone loves Cheesecakes. From L.A.GalaxyUNITED |

How about a bake sale at the school? They have those kinds of things here and they go over real well! The parents make homemade cookies, cakes, pies, pastries and other sweet treats and they donate them to the school for the children to sell. They would always use the school gym for this, as to keep out those pesky flies and stuff! Good luck and I hope you kids can raise enough for many of you to go! That would be a most excellent vacation / learning experience to see parts of history.. |

Lucky!!! I'd love to travel to europe, can I hide in your luggage? I like the bake sale idea, ummm babysitting, Dogwalker/Dog washer, have a carwash at your school, get a part-time job, have a yard sale, you can sell candy at school (alot of kids did that when I was in school, buy a cheap bag of candy and raise the price of it, kids would buy that stuff up), make jewelry/keychains & sell'em. That's all I can come up with for now but if I think of anything else I'll come back. I hope you get to go & if you do be safe and take LOTS of pictures..and send me a postcard!!! LOL |

Bake sale!! Or, since fall is coming, do you get a lot of leaves to rake up where you live? You could wander around neighborhoods and explain that you're raising money for a trip to Europe with your school, and you were wondering if you could rake the yard for a donation. If you do a good job, you might be able to get a good chunk after a couple of weekends of work. |

Carwash is what popped into my head but you already said it. If I think of any ideas I'll come back to you! The trip sounds like it'll be tons of fun!! The high school I went to always held a trip like that every summer, it was always to different places around the world. But yes, it's expensive. Good luck raising the money Ashley, you can do it!! *hugs* |

All of those are good ideas! We are going to try and hold a pajama party for little kids and then do makeovers and crafts and stuff with a charge for admissions, but they are getting goodie bags and stuff too so it works. haha. We are going to do a garage sale soon. Unfortunately we cannot use the school or anything or use the name of our school because although its kids and teachers from the school going, it's a different company sponsoring it. |
