Thank you for commenting on my poetry named “The Photograph.” I really appreciate that you are here at USM and sharing your ideas.

After reading your post, I smiled from the cultural simile used, and looked for a way to share the engendered warmth.

The way came yesturday when a passenger next to me shared that he was flying out to be at his grandchild’s christening. Toward the end of his flight, he wished me a safe journey and I replied, “Have a wonderful Norman Rockwell time with you and your family.” He brightened up all over and mentioned that the Rockwell Museum was right under us! It was a wonderful moment.

I love it here at USM because it eases my suffering. I suffer from a terrible debilitating “foot and mouth” disease.

I know the cure is in respectful, relaxed, and restrained speech; therefore, while learning, I read your wonderful responses to life, so contemporary, yet succinct because we have to be clear and careful in minding that our intent transfers correctly.

Thank you all USM for your wonderful sharing, and Thank you Mustang Renee for inspiring a wonderful moment.
