sometimes the world seems
so blue when everything
is just sitting still
while it all floats into
the sky closing in
just when the door is swinging
witch way will we go
I wish I knew
where everything had gone
honestly what have I done
these walls are coming closer
the distance upon us seem
to us so far from reality
where are we to go when
it all stops making sense
I wish I knew
how you saw it inside
this ocean as the waves are
rising the tides becoming
much higher than I can control
what can I, will I do
out into the open blue
cutting the wound
with nothing more to pursue
deeper within holding
the possibility for some
beginning into another view
I wish I knew
what do these blue eyes
see beyond the letters is it hope
for much better
can we go much longer
in the midst of no understanding
longing for some clarity
holding in with no where to
unload all the worlds we have lived
and gone before these walls
stand to tall what do we
to move through this mountain
I wish I knew
