Release
The calm before the storm
Is passing
Time for all the loneliness to be banished
Harsh words forgotten, scattered to the winds
Time when I will rise up to greet my fears
And laugh, when they cannot hold me captive
Again, I wish to dance
Dance, with all my hopes and dreams on my sleeve
Dance in the fire and in the rain
Laugh at what I once loathed
And believe there is an ending in all things
after the fact
from violet to cream
i sit
between eyelids and the fully conscious
against gravity
late evening i discover
a jealous lover
'til it becomes
mirage
on the morrow
lay your hands
let it
or
live knowing
i don't have to say
residual effects
why can't
i love you like
a long unbroken breath
warm feelings
with a subtle sigh
trace
moving water
alive like a coal
and then
metamorphosis
things we cannot stop
worth it
like love
electric
so
this is goodbye
