Call this a corny response BUT - Every moment I get to spend with my Dad is my favorite. To be around such a kind, giving, strong man is truly a wonderful thing. We've always had fun together and I cherish those times and the times yet to come. |

The day he saw snow for the first time in his life at the age of 33. He and my mom were divorced when I was a baby, and my mom moved from Puerto Rico (Where he had spent his entire life) to California. Later he moved there to be closer to us. A year or so later, my mom took him to see the snow, and he cried, and played just like a kid. My father and I never got along, and I haven't seen him in over 15 years. |

My favorites were the times when we were working together, be it rebuilding an old car or motorcycle, working on equipment, or doing work around the farm or out in the hay fields. With both of us having different engineering backgrounds, we made a good team. |

One memory that sticks with me is when I was 5 years old, my dad used to get avacadoes and he would mash them and mix "tabasco" sauce with them. We would eat it on crackers. It would burn my mouth so bad, but I would never complain, because I was doing it with my dad......... |

My favorite moment with my dad was when I was little and we would play kick ball together. It'd be just us two, but it was awesome. I got to pretend like I was the whole team. |

When I was little and he spent a really long time in his bedroom practicing his guitar. Then he called my brother and my mom and me into the room and played a song from my favorite movie- "The Wizard of Oz." It was awesome. |

This sounds really bizarre, but one of my favorite early childhood memories of my father include him taking me to an ice house! LOL! I was about 4 or 5 and I had on this frilly dress with tons of petticoats and Mother had put my hair in Shirley Temple curls, and I was just "dorable" LOL! And Daddy had some old buddies at the Ice House that he just felt he had to show me off to, so we went in and he had a coke and I got to prance up and down the bar with all the old guys telling me I was just the prettiest little girl they had ever seen. And Daddy, just puffed up and proud as a peacock. So, surely not socially acceptable today, but in the time of old neighborhood watering holes, was not quite such a nono. And I still have not forgotten it! Love and Light |

Camping in Galena, IL as a kid. My dad hid in trees while us kids tried to find him in the dark. He would make loud whistling sounds and then jump out of one tree and go to another and do it again. We would just run around and never find him. Those were the best times. |
