of course there is also the battle of Iwo Jima, where this American platoon took the highground, and mounted the flag pole depicted in a famous video and statue at arlingron national cemetary. |

Does anyone have a favorite style or tpe of flag they adore. I loved the orginal thirteen colonies flag, as well as the jumbo ones found at sporting events. |

I remembered it and flew my flags and put my Americana wreath on the front door.
I think of Gettysburg this time of year on Flag Day, but I also never forget the VietNam War since I lost loved ones in that nasty one.  |
