oh well it will dry a lot faster atleast, lol. One thing I never liked about long hair was how long it takes to dry and style. And yes it does grow back, and it will be all new growth so it will probably be a lot healthier too. It looks good anyways   |

I just got my hair cut too..About 11 inches, and I donated that too. I was more nervous about getting my hair cut than going to the dentist. I'm not a fan of short hair, so I guess we're both in the "can't wait until it grows back" club.  |

when i got my hair cut a couple months ago, i specifically told her not to touch my bangs...i'd had them short for 19 years and finally had enough patience to grow them out, and for the last 2 years that they've been long, its been awesome..but what does she do? cuts em...i could just BARELY tuck them behind my ears, and i'm like you..i HATE hair hangin around my face..sooo the last two months have been VERY frustrating, but now I can finally pull them back with the rest of my hair into an elastic...i'm SO happy! lol |

LMAO my hair was the length of your first picture and I got it shaved bald to raise money for "cops for cancer" and donated the whole lot of it to locks for love. They normally bid on shaving your head to raise more money but they refused to let anyone shave me but a professional hairdresser. It was dead quiet when I did it. Very freeing though, loved rubbing my hand over it but it did suck though when it got caught on the sofa like velcro. ( that was two years ago, almost time to do it again)  |

Bangs are evil! I can't stand hair on my face either. Anywho, I've freaked people before too, try hair to the waist then above the shoulders, boy did I get an earfull, lol. Right now my hair is about that short if not shorter and now I'm wishing for it to grow fast, go figure.  |

Atleast you did it for a good cause and some child will greatly appreciate the fact that you cut your hair for them. THink of it like this...you can grow yours back but the child who will get your hair will never be able to grow hair so I think you have done the right thing and congratulations!
