When you are living in another country, you meet some wonderful people, and some people that you wish you had never meet before (like in all countries), however whilst I have been in Switzerland, the last 3 months I have been in a close friendship with a girl from Chile...
I live work and spend nearly all of my free time with this girl...we are really close friends because of this, and because we are in a family environment which is good for neither of us, so we have something in common...
But today she will be leaving to return home, and she will never be coming back (at least whilst I am living here) and for me this is a really difficult time...
I have said a lot of goodbyes in my years of travelling, and it never does get easier...i have been through a lot of good and bad times due to our friendship, but I am still going to miss her, and I dont know what it will be like without her here...
We had a really good relationship...We use to spend time in each others rooms when their was nothing else to do, we use to talk, we shared responsibilities of the child which we both look after, and we went out together...there is so much I am going to miss:
2 am wake up calls to ask if she can use my charger... Meeting in Zurich under the clock
Even through it is so small, these things have become important for me...and i am really loosing a 'best' friend...
I really dont like saying goodbye, so I am going to try and keep it a "see you later", but even that is difficult, because you know in a way it will never happen....
