Swearing in my apt??

Well I havent been posting cos I have ben busy! really bussy and I wanted to share something that happen in my apt yesterday night.. really freaky. It started like this..

My cat last thursday when I came in my apt was freaked out by me. I mean he ran away from me.. I thought he did something bad but I had too much of a migraine so bah.. I didnt want to care..So i got my stuff and went to my bf.. nothing happen and everything was cool till then.. Last night I took my cat and brought him to my boyfriend who was switching the tv to the playstation and my cat was freaked out by him.. like he didnt want to get near my boyfriend.. so my boyfriend started petting him and after my cat returned to normal.. but he started to follow me around as usual and going to my bf and getting pets..

Anyways I fininished making supper and I called my bf to get his food he came and went back to the living room. My kitchen and living room is seperated by a corridor.. that corridor is 2 meters long so any sounds from there you can hear good. I was about to go to my living room when I heard a swear word said twice comming out of my corridor, so I went to see my bf and I asked him if everything was fine.. He looked at me like if I came from mars.. I asked him why he swore.. he looked at me even more odly.. So I told him that I heard a man say a swear word twice like if the dropped something... thats the feeling I got when i heard it.. He said to me it could of came from upstairs neighbors but the sound was too loud...

I never hear anything speak usually and by my cat being freaked out.. what do u think? I never had my cat freaked out before by a "buddy" usually they are peaceful and my cat plays with them... Weird thing is that I feel NOTHING around me...
