I don't get why they keep knocking though, they can always leave a jello mold as thanks, hehe. On a serious note, you've done the right thing, don't open the door. |
Date: 4/20/2006 3:55:00 PM From Authorid: 53052 yah three nights in a row seems odd... |
Date: 4/20/2006 4:10:00 PM From Authorid: 30747 I dunno. I think I would have asked through the door what they wanted and put that queston a little more to rest. Maybe something happened to their car while it was there that night and they wanted to ask if you had seen anything suspicious. Could be a lot of reasons really. Must of been important to be there 3 nights. I would think if they wanted to rip you off they wouldn't be so obvioius but I'm just guessing so take care. |
Date: 4/20/2006 4:20:00 PM From Authorid: 53961 Is the car still there or did they move it? |
Date: 4/20/2006 4:24:00 PM From Authorid: 15394 sounds like they are trying to figure out when you all are home ... if that was them again at the door...hmmm |
Date: 4/20/2006 4:26:00 PM From Authorid: 13729 Suspicious........ |
Date: 4/20/2006 4:33:00 PM From Authorid: 37872 If it seems suspicious, probably is. Call the cops give a description, let them take a description of the car. If it's no harm intended then, no one gets hurt. Better to be safe then sorry. |
Date: 4/20/2006 4:54:00 PM From Authorid: 43015 I agree with Jungabel..It sounds like they're trying to figure out when you guys are home or something.. |
Date: 4/20/2006 4:55:00 PM From Authorid: 50249 It is suspicious. Don't you ever, EVER open the door. Be careful, take care and God bless you. |
Date: 4/20/2006 5:22:00 PM From Authorid: 63040 maybe they needed help or maybe theyre "scouting" your place to see ur schedules |

Sounds very suspicious, but yes I am paranoid but don't answer the door and if they come around again just call the police maybe they will get the message. You can't be too careful now days. Peace and love, Kathy |
Date: 4/20/2006 6:02:00 PM From Authorid: 44237 Yeah, Souldrifter is right maybe you should ask thru the door at least that would let them know someone is home so if they are planning to rob your house then that would ward them off. |
Date: 4/20/2006 6:09:00 PM From Authorid: 14314 I agree with SoulDrifter. Take Care and God Bless |

Very suspicious. I would call the police and let them know what is going on. I recently saw a program on "Home Invasion" which told stories of how person(s) would come to your door with reasons like needing to use the phone because the car is broke down or maybe lost. Just be very careful. Like someone else said they may be checking out your times at home. Lorkrister |

Date: 4/20/2006 6:57:00 PM From Authorid: 16845 If the show up again...peak out to make sure it's them, then call the police. |
Date: 4/20/2006 8:30:00 PM From Authorid: 28071 id get their licenese plate number, and have the car towed away David/Fearfactor |
Date: 4/20/2006 8:32:00 PM From Authorid: 62679 It sounds like the scene from Mothman Prophecies lol |
Date: 4/20/2006 9:08:00 PM From Authorid: 63202 I would be a bit concerned. Many times the broken down car routine is an attempt to scope a place out, trying to decide when someone is and is not at home, when certain family members are alone, etc. If they come knocking again, I would put a call into the police and let them have a chat with these fellows. Couldn't hurt. |
Date: 4/20/2006 9:54:00 PM From Authorid: 11348 That would make me kind of uneasy too. There could be a lot of good reasons for them to knock on the door, but to be safe, don't open the door and hopefully they'll get the hint and go away. |
