I've been halfway out of my head.
I know that's no excuse.
I may have been a little harsh
I may have been real cruel
I've been a little angry
Shouldn't take it out on you
You are the one bright light that shines
solid and true
I hope you will forgive me
For the things I've said to you.
Things aren't the same since we've been apart,
My days are a wreck,
And the following endless nights are worse.
Please forgive me for the pain I've caused,
I'll try and make it up every chance I get.
