Date: 3/30/2006 7:08:00 AM  From Authorid: 63258    I enjoy way too many modern conveniences to feel connected with any historical period. -KT
Date: 3/30/2006 7:20:00 AM  From Authorid: 15228    I love reading about the pioneers and the move westward. Can you imagine packing all that you own into an itty-bitty wagon and taking your wife and children into untamed land where you have only yourself to rely on?
Date: 3/30/2006 7:34:00 AM  From Authorid: 18155    "Middle Ages", say from 1060-1400 A.D.About any location, especially England, Scotland, Wales and the times of the early Crusades
Date: 3/30/2006 7:48:00 AM  From Authorid: 63200    Laf, Kelly and KT! You said it first. ;> I enjoy modern conveniences WAY too much to want to live in another time period, but when I feel whiny or that life's too hard, I *always* think of either Laura Ingalls Wilder and her family, or else, my great-great-grandparents, who were the first white settlers in Rawlins County, Kansas. The lives of those pioneer women were *so* much harder than mine, I try to ALWAYS keep them in mind, so I can count my blessings. --EM of GW, 21st Century Bum
Date: 3/30/2006 7:50:00 AM  From Authorid: 27534    Two periods..... the post Civil War period up to the industrial revoltion and then the Great Depression up to the end of World War II. The both represent for me a coming together of people and effort....in the face of great challenges.
Date: 3/30/2006 9:12:00 AM  From Authorid: 7830    defenitly the 1940's-50's simply because there was still a family unit in America and the media wasnt so disgusting and nearly Xrated
Date: 3/30/2006 9:13:00 AM  From Authorid: 63320    I liked the Tudor times in the UK
Date: 3/30/2006 9:30:00 AM  From Authorid: 59418    Ancient egypt, the vikings or the middle ages...I feel really strongly drawn to the Vikings though..
Date: 3/30/2006 9:36:00 AM  From Authorid: 27403    I feel a very, very strong connection with Egypt during the time of the School Of Mysteries, somehwere between 1000BC and 1500BC and pre-Christian Ireland/Britian, during the period when Druidism flourished. I have had a past life regression in which I have seen life in both of these places (I am approximating the time/age) and have shamanic journeyed and been transported to both of these times and places. In ancient Egypt, I was kidnapped by some kind of warriors (European) and kept in a stone hut in the desert with a chain around my neck. I have witnessed a secret druid ceremony (which I later had verified as an actual ancient ceremony) during a shamanic journey. Have been fascinated with both since I was a child, and now understand why. Love and Light
Date: 3/30/2006 10:21:00 AM  From Authorid: 11097    hmmmm.... biblical times, ancient egypt, and all the way before that.... before there was a Roman Empire... long before that cool question!
Date: 3/30/2006 10:51:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 8726    thank you
Date: 3/30/2006 4:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 55967    Depends on what mood I'm in, and the place plays a huge part. My top three are certain times during the Biblical era, Early Middle Ages in China, and WWII and up into the 1950's.
Date: 3/30/2006 4:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 55967    Oh yea! The American Colonial times up into the Revolution, and also WWI.
Date: 3/30/2006 4:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 55967    ^^^Those are supposed to be reversed since the first was written secondly...

Date: 3/30/2006 6:52:00 PM  From Authorid: 62927    I am so connected to day. I am back at school at mid age, and Homework used to be so barbaric without the internet Im lovin it CR
Date: 3/31/2006 9:28:00 PM  From Authorid: 62617    Anytime in the middle ages or anytime before the 1820's. But of course in another country than the U.S. I think I might have had a past life because I am VERY interested in all royalty from like the 1000s to now. Anything that has to do with any European Royal family, it sparks my interest... But it might just be me.. :-)
