When the Redskins were on TV, I would play hide and seek with the kids and I was always IT. I told them to go hide and I would count to 43,000 then come find them. Then I'd watch the game. No, but seriously, I used to love to build age appropriate puzzles with them. We all loved it. -KT |

Puzzles are good, draw pictures, make forts, teach him ball games (catch and stuff like that). Bubbles are fun, as long as you watch him and he doesn't eat them. Make up songs with him, go on treasure hunts (hide the stuff before-hand). |

Teach him silly songs and Nursery Rhymes like Mother Goose. Playing cars and trucks is fun for them and the kids love it when you play with them. Coloring is also a good thing to do just before nap time to settle them down. Little kids at that age are little pitchers waiting to be filled and they learn so fast and so much. |

a game I play with my sons (ages 2 and 3 1/2) is called "running in circles" where we basically do nothing but run in a small circle, so we're all mock chasing each other, and while we're running we say "we're running in circles, we're running in cirles" in a sing song tone. they love it and gigle and laugh until no ned and eventually fall on the floor laughing! we also play alot of catch with balls. |
