I agree with everyone else. Do have it checked out that way you can be positive on what it is. |

Get it checked out just in case. You would totally kick yourself if it turned out to be something bad (although it doesn't sound like anything bad). |

could be a clogged pore-- because of shaving and deoderant, it's common to get those in your armpit. But if it doesn't go away in a few days, see a doc. |

Another possibility is fibroids, especially if the caffeine intake is high. I get these often in my breast tissue and up under the arm...it feels like there are knotted ropes under the skin. I was concerned and had it checked, that was what was going on. If you get them in breast tissue, it is also possible you can get them in uterine or fallopian tissue too, however, and that can lead to endometriosis, which is unpleasant at best, and hysterectomy-time, at worst. If you're thinking about it enough to be asking for advice from the gals, go ask some from a doc, too. ;> The Big C doesn't age discriminate. It's worth the trip. Good luck! --EM of GW |

could be a strain. i got that same thing when my mom was in a wheelchair for a few months. i went to the dr. after about a week and he figured it was from pushing her around. i wouldn't wait too long tho. |

Hey that could be true. In my new job I have been pushing around a baby pusher which might also cause it. |
