getting hit by a truck on a dirt bike and nearly dying

It isnt exactly about me its about my boyfriend.... On April 18, 2005 he was riding his dirtbike down the road in Mt. Holly North Carolina in the dark and he had no headlights. He was on his way to see a friend of his who was in trouble. well on the way he was running from a cop because he had no tag or lights on his dirtbike. Well before he knew it a truck at hit him. Witnesses say he had flew a few feet in the air. The ambulance people say he tried to get up and run but his legs was all messed up. He couldnt walk for 4 months. He had to learn how to walk and use his legs all over again. In his left leg he has a metal rod in it. On his left foot he has a half toe because it go cut off. His heart was bruised his ribs was broken and he has a bad lung. The doctors didnt think he was gonna live but he made it through... I always say its a miracle and hes lucky to be alive.

i was so scared for him....he now knows not to ride his dirtbike on the road at night with no headlights.... he doesnt even really ride his dirtbike anymore. I am just happy hes alive and 100% better!!!
