Date: 2/19/2006 7:52:00 AM From Authorid: 35438 Whenever I'm talking to any of my best friends or my family, I make sure to tell them I love them at the end of the conversation. I think that, if something were to happen to them, or me, I'd want to have said that to them. And my hubby and I tell each other we love each other several times a day. |

Date: 2/19/2006 7:54:00 AM From Authorid: 27403 I always tell my family and friends "I love you" when ending a conversation, or saying Good night, or leaving. Just the way I was raised! Love and Light |
Date: 2/19/2006 7:55:00 AM From Authorid: 27403 Well, maybe not when ending a converstaion! LOL! I mean, like a conversation on the phone! Love and Light |
Date: 2/19/2006 8:06:00 AM From Authorid: 22433 I can say it to my best friend & her family (we're really close), but i've never been able to say it to my OWN family..my own mom and dad..i try to everytime i talk to them, but i never can..and i hate that i can't. |
Date: 2/19/2006 8:11:00 AM From Authorid: 58334 I find that it's hard for me to say it. I can't even remember when the last time was I told anybody that. |
Date: 2/19/2006 8:45:00 AM From Authorid: 62849 I say it to family and friends when we get to say it face to face, and sometimes on the phone. My boyfriend and I say it to one another on a multiple-times-a-day basis- enough to the point where it's probably excessive, but it still feels nice to hear it, and even better to be able to say it. |
Date: 2/19/2006 8:49:00 AM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53054 Ky I really do believe that as well... |
Date: 2/19/2006 8:51:00 AM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53054 WOW I love you is used more loosly than I would have thought...that is both good and bad. How do you tell if someone really means it in a different way? |
Date: 2/19/2006 8:58:00 AM From Authorid: 33925 I don't say I love you unless I truly mean it. My Daughter will say it to almost anyone and I have a problem with that personally. Love is a strong emotion and you have to truly FEEL it before saying "I love you"..IMO |
Date: 2/19/2006 9:06:00 AM From Authorid: 35720 People saying they love me makes me feel uncomfortable unless they're my close friend or a relative. |
Date: 2/19/2006 9:08:00 AM From Authorid: 59418 Like H, I don't say it to my own family...I'm not sure why, it just doesn't happen & never has. I only really say I love you to my boyfriend, and a few close friends |
Date: 2/19/2006 9:08:00 AM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53054 LOL....I totally agree...I dont going around saying I love you to everyone, only people I know who know hte meaning of what I mean. |
Date: 2/19/2006 9:24:00 AM From Authorid: 62927 The Greeks have three words for love. I forgot them, but like one is for things, one is for people. One of the words is agape. CR |
Date: 2/19/2006 9:31:00 AM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53054 CR. I think that is really good. I suppose that is why we use the slang terms of I Love you, then there is also I luv you....said more in a sarcastic friendly way. |

I tell my wife and family that I love them seveal times a day. |
Date: 2/19/2006 10:19:00 AM From Authorid: 63080 Love is from the heart! If it is there, share it because it can do you no good if kept inside and alone. Share it and it will multiply and return to you ten fold. |
Date: 2/19/2006 10:25:00 AM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53054 Dan L that is a nice way to think about it. |
Date: 2/19/2006 2:10:00 PM From Authorid: 16671 There are many ways to use the word love. LIke I will say luv ya to friends after sending a email, and I do love them. Do I love them as close as my family or as close as my husband? Well of course not, but then in some cases yes its true. Some I have not met in person but talked to for these past five years and I do love them in a way that is so much different then a physical relationship with the touch of a real human. My dad has a problem with the words I love you. Or even love you. When I leave his house I'll say, love ya dad, and my sisters and brothers can say the same thing to him, he will say things like, thats nice, or I'll remember that. but he CANT say I love you. strange huh? |
Date: 2/19/2006 2:33:00 PM From Authorid: 43015 Come to think of it..I don't really say "I love you" to anybody..one of my friends always say "I love you Jenny" but she does that to everybody so its one of those things that doesnt matter..I don't really tell my family I love them, it feels sort of uncomfortable..the only person I actualy tell I love them is my sister |
Date: 2/19/2006 3:35:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53054 wow i am suprised at the amount of people who do not say i love you to members of their gamily. |
Date: 2/19/2006 4:11:00 PM From Authorid: 39370 It all depends on the person. If a close family member or friend says it, I don't mind. If I'm on a 3rd date with a guy and he says it (in all seriousness...since I've had that happen to me on more than one occasion) it just makes me uncomfortable and it very off-putting to me. |
Date: 2/19/2006 5:37:00 PM From Authorid: 42945 when I say it I mean it....*hugs* |
Date: 2/19/2006 7:27:00 PM From Authorid: 7574 I can probably count the number of times I've said it on one hand. |
