spring officially starts on March 20. Phil saw his shadow, but one of the southern groundhogs (Georgia, maybe?) did not. |

i think the reason Phil always sees his shadow is all the lights and cameras and stuff shining on him, thats just something my mom and dad thought of lolit could be true though, i think it is *ANGUS* |

Despite the fact Phil saw his shadow, it's been like spring and winter have been alternating every other day up here in the Northeast. Is it like that anywhere else? ~ Coffee Goddess |

General Lee here in Georgia did not see his shadow. But I try not to let chubby rodents do my weather predictions for me. |

I heard Phil saw his shadow. We have been having record breaking weather here. 10-20 degrees hotter then normal for this time a year. Actually did get a couple inches of snow last night though. (it is already melting) |

I was wondering if he saw his shadow too... but technically spring doesn't start until 6 weeks after ground hog day so it doesn't matter if he sees it or there will always be 6 more weeks of winter, lol. I still like to know about the ground hog though. |

Coffee Goddess, it's doing the same here in southern WV, warm as heck one day and snowing/freezing my rear end off the next. My kids have stayed sick this winter. |
