Have you guys ever wondered where that character comes from? Well, I was reading about henry 8th wives and while I was writting about them to post on the site i discoved some character that was called like that and this is what I found out.
Mary was actally Mary 1, the first daughther of the first wife of Henry the 8th, Catherine of Aragorn.
She was a devout catholic and got her name by burning over 300 protestants to the stake for heresy.
A lot of people call on her saying "bloody Mary i killed your son" In front of a mirror at midnight, that would be referring to the number of miscariages she had during her life..
And also her face appearing as the grim reaper would be cos all the heresy charges upon poeple.
